Meet The Aphrodite — one of our most requested designs, and a good example of what a bespoke sandstone basin can do for a bathroom. It pairs a warm, sand-toned finish with clean modern lines, so it reads as minimalist from across the room but has real texture and character up close.

The sandstone tone is one of the more forgiving finishes to live with day to day — it hides water spots and everyday marks better than a stark white or grey basin, while still feeling considered rather than rustic. It works equally well as a standalone vanity basin or as the centrepiece of a larger bathroom renovation.

Every Aphrodite is hand-cast and finished individually in our Cape Town workshop, so no two are perfectly identical — that's part of the appeal of a genuinely handmade piece rather than a mass-produced one.
