Concave Rectangle Concrete Basin – Choc Plum – 52 x 40 x 13cm
A deep chocolate brown with a plum undertone that shifts from rich brown in daylight to almost aubergine under warm lighting. It makes a strong statement against white walls, terrazzo or pale stone, and pairs well with walnut or dark-stained wood and black or copper taps. The colour is oxide pigment mixed into the concrete during casting, so it's permanent and won't fade.
Where it works: At 52 x 40cm this is a full-size bathroom basin, so allow a vanity or countertop of roughly 70cm wide or more. The gently sloped concave bowl drains towards the centre and is easy to wipe clean. A darker shade like choc plum hides water marks and everyday splashes better than light colours, which makes it a practical pick for a busy family bathroom or a guest suite.
